Can anyone help me locate where and when my great grandfather, David Thomas Jones
was born/baptised?
I cannot trace the civil
registration of his birth, nor can I find his baptism.
According to his marriage
certificate, his father was Thomas Jones, labourer.
He married Margaret Jones
of
5 Tan y Cefn, Llanwnda.
I have found David Thomas
on the censuses of 1881, 1891 & 1901
and he is shown as being born in Llandwrog or Llanllyfni.
Taking
the various years of birth shown on the censuses and
his age on his marriage & death
certificates (he married & died in Liverpool) he was born some time between 1852 & 1856.
I have been searching
for 20 years without success and so I would welcome
any help and advice.
