Hello, I was wondering if anybody would be able to help me find out some information
about my grandparents?
My Nain is Maime Stowe
(formerly) Jones and I never got to meet my Taid as
he had died
before I was born
and Nain had remarried.
I remember spending many
a happy holiday in Penygroes with my Nain, staying
at
her shop in Water street
and getting chips from the chip shop just a few
doors up!
As I mentioned earlier
my Taid, Owen Jones, died before I was born and I don't
know an awful lot
about him
or the shop that my family used to own before
they moved to (no.3?) Water Street. All I know is that
the original shop burnt down. Does anybody have
any information
or interesting stories about my Nain and Taid
or
either of the shops they owned? (Or my dad for
that matter,
Garem Jones)?
Any information would
be much appreciated.
