This
excellent female choir takes it name - and its members
from Dyffryn
Nantlle and
the surrounding area in Snowdonia, Wales. They come
from a long tradition of home-spun music making, and
have a natural love of singing and harmony. But they
are much more than a mere choir, as their entertainment
always includes a strong element of humor and audience
participation, and their singing expresses their enjoyment
of good company and a convivial atmosphere. But under
the direction of their conductor Maldwyn Parry, they
also have great discipline, which makes the most of
their rich vocal talents. The choir made a recording
to celebrate their 21st anniversary, and to celebrate
21 years of constant traveling and entertaining, with
many competitive successes along the way, most notably
at the Festival on several occasions, and always enjoy
the great hospitality of their Irish hosts.
